Dr. Blake earned her undergraduate and Doctor of Medicine degrees at the University of Nebraska. She completed Obstetrics and Gynecology residency with the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa, and a Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship at Oregon Health Sciences University. Dr. Blake also earned a Master of Public Health degree from the Oregon Health Sciences University. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and she has a subspecialty certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Dr. Blake is licensed by the State of Oklahoma.
Prior to starting Tulsa Perinatal Evaluation Center, Dr. Blake taught at the University of Oklahoma Tulsa Medical School in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She served in this capacity for a period of nine years, and still today, even with a thriving practice, remains a committed educator.
Dr. Blake’s specialty is prenatal diagnosis services for women with high-risk pregnancies. As the average age of mothers increases, so does the risk for pregnancy-related health complications and genetic disorders. Dr. Blake identifies possible complications or fetal disorders, and works alongside primary OB-GYNs offering expert advice on how to proceed with a healthcare plan that is catered to the specific needs of each mother and baby. Such a service is in very high demand and keeps Dr. Blake quite busy throughout her day. She is a very gifted physician who provides outstanding medical care for high-risk pregnancies.
Juggling a successful practice and her role as a single mother can, at times, be quite challenging for Christine; but, ultimately, both roles are also very rewarding. Not only does she have the privilege of assisting new mothers overcome extraordinary circumstances to bring life into the world, she also gets to be a mother herself—one who through personal example inspires her children to use each of their gifts and talents to their fullest.
